Synopsis[]

In this episode, Kai-Lan and her animal friends are going trick-or-treating. But the plans are ruined when Rintoo trips on a rock and sprains his ankle. Rintoo then cries. His friends have to help him so that everyone can go trick-or-treating.

Plot[]

Today is Halloween, where Kai-Lan is a purple dinosaur as her Halloween costume Ye-Ye prepares balloons and pumpkins to decorate the house for Halloween. Rintoo is a dragon for Halloween, Tolee is a panda for Halloween, and Hoho is the Monkey King. They then all go trick-or-treating, however when Rintoo walks in reverse, he didn't watch where he was going and lands on a rock and sprains his ankle.

Rintoo is determined to go trick-or-treating, but he is unable to control his leg while in bed. Ye-Ye warns Rintoo that if he walks around, his foot can start hurting again. Ye-Ye tells him that he'd be able to walk around in the morning, which means he won't be able to go trick-or-treating and he starts to cry. Kai-Lan recaps that Rintoo is crying about not going trick-or-treating, Rintoo says that he really wants to go, but he has to stay in bed. Kai-Lan says that they are not going trick-or-treating without Rintoo. While meeting Ye-Ye, Kai-Lan bumps onto the table which causes the pumpkin to break, which makes the Hula Ducks sad. Ye-Ye decides to turn the pumpkin into something new; cooking a pumpkin pie.

Seeing this, Kai-Lan comes up with a solution; "when things go bad and you feel sad; find a way to make things better, better, better.. They then come up with an idea, taking the bed outside via the use of wheels and transformations to turn the bed into a vehicle. After turning the bed into a dragon vehicle, they then go trick-or-treating, with Ye-Ye following in his bike. They meet Mr. Fluffy, who gives them Halloween cookies, and the ants, which give them candy.

On their way to Hula Duck Island, the vehicle hits a hole and causes one of the wheels to break. Lulu appears in a ballerina costume, who then puts balloons on the dragon vehicle. They all arrive at the Hula Duck Island, just in time for the Halloween party with everyone else.
