Pandy's Puddle is the sixteetnth episode of the second season of Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, and the show's thirty-fourth overall episode. It aired on March 24, 2010 on the Nick channel. In this episode, Tolee's stuffed panda bear has to be taken to be washed where Tolee gets so upset over it.

Plot[]
Tolee's stuffed panda, Pandy, accidentally gets covered in mud and needs to be taken to the laundry room to get washed. This makes him very upset and makes him cry a lot! Kai-Lan and her animal friends show him that it's okay to miss someone if they're away, and that they'll be back soon.

The episode begins with Kai-Lan greeting the viewers as she tells them about the upcoming Garden Festival. Prizes will be given to the biggest and best grown produce. Rintoo, Hoho, and Tolee arrive, and Tolee has brought along his stuffed panda, Pandy. Kai-Lan takes her friends to a special garden Ye-Ye made for them, where each person has their own vegetable. Kai-Lan has carrots, Rintoo has snow peas, Hoho has bok choy, and Tolee has Chinese turnips. Tolee has harvested a humongous Chinese turnip, but in the process, accidentally drops Pandy in a puddle.
When Tolee finds out, he becomes really upset that Pandy has become dirty. The friends take Pandy to Ye-Ye, who decides to wash Pandy. Tolee is initially reluctant to be away from Pandy, but his friends convince him to let Ye-Ye take care of Pandy. Kai-Lan and her friends are then about to get ready for the Garden Festival, but Tolee sits by the washing machine and cries. Kai-Lan figures out that Tolee misses Pandy.
Kai-Lan asks Ye-Ye for advice, and Ye-Ye asks Kai-Lan what she does when she misses him. Kai-Lan remembers that she keeps a picture of Ye-Ye and draws a card, and remembers that Ye-Ye will always be back. This gives Kai-Lan an idea for a lesson: "It's okay to miss someone who's gone for a while, but remember, they'll be back!" With this lesson in hand, Kai-Lan, Hoho, and Rintoo encourage Tolee to draw a card for Pandy, and give him a picture of them at their campout. Tolee now feels better.
Tolee accompanies Kai-Lan, Hoho, and Rintoo to the Garden Festival. Tolee wins first place for the largest Chinese turnip. He wishes Pandy was here, but remembers the lesson: "It's okay to miss someone who's gone for a while, but remember, they'll be back!" At that moment, Ye-Ye brings a newly-cleaned Pandy to Tolee, much to his excitement. The episode ends with Kai-Lan saying 再見 to the viewers, while adding that she will miss us, but she knows that we'll be back.
